Fully Funded Vanier Canada graduate funding 2021-2022

A Fully Funded Canada Scholarship is presently ongoing offered by the Government of Canada, as a matter of fact the Canadian Government offers about 166 scholarships each year. Therefore the Canadian Government is activating the Venier Canada graduate funding program for the academic year 2021-2022

This funding opportunity has been designed for all international students from across the world who wants to pursue their career in doctoral degree program at any of the recognized institute in Canada.

Eligible Countries:

All students who are Canadian Citizens or with a permanent residency of Canada and also all foreign students can apply for this opportunity to be selected for the Vanier CGS

All students whom are interested in for this opportunity should have it in mind that this program is only available for doctoral degree students at any Canadian Universities

Criteria For Eligibility:

For students whom wants to be selected for this program should ensure they have the following stated criteria

  • The student must have enrolled or have held a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC to undertake or complete a doctoral degree
  • The student must not hold a faculty appointment concurrently with a Vanier Scholarship unless they arrange for a leave of absence from the appointment
  • The student must not be concurrently holding any other SSHRC, NSERC or CIHR training award (Note: Micheal Smith Foreign Studies Supplement Excepted)
  • All students must remain enrolled and demonstrate satisfactory progress in their doctoral program

Official Admission Requirements:

All aspiring student should make sure they have attained a minimum of 80% or it’s Equivalent in each of the last completed years of full time study or an Equivalent to Full-Time study


Language Requirements Needed:

For student whom their country language is not English language, that need to provide an English language Proficiency proof through IELTS or TOEFL tests

Scholarship Benefits Awarded:

The Educational fund will provide an amount worth of $50,000 per year for the three years degree level course
