The Southern Louisiana University has announced the Out-Of-State-Waiver Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023. The University has provided an opportunity for all international students that wants to study undergraduate programs at SLU.


All aspiring students with a high GPA and required ACT or SAT scores will be considered for the opportunity.

The Southern Louisiana University is a public university located in Hammond, Louisiana. The University has been ranked the 93rd in the Regional Universities South. The SLU is the state’s third-largest public university and it focuses it’s major effort on the students in other to bring greater funding support for the advancement of the students career.

Aspiring students can apply for a non-resident undergraduate program that is taught at SLU

Criteria For Eligibility:


All aspiring applicants must have a GPA of 2.25 or higher

All aspiring applicants must have an ACT composite score of 21 (or equivalent SAT Score)

All candidates must have completed a recognized secondary school program with a minimum GPA of 2.35

All candidates must provide ACT or SAT scores

Language Requirements Needed:

IELTS – 6.5 overall band

TOEFL – 7.9 IB

TOEFL – 550 paper-based

TOEFL – 80 internet-based

Duolingo – 100

Scholarship Benefits Awarded:
All aspiring selected students will have a tuition fee waiver to support the cost of a non-resident undergraduate program at SLU

All Out-Of-State Students that meet all the criteria for Eligibility grant will be considered for the opportunity
